Dr. Katie Swart is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Special Education and Child Development at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is the Child and Family Development M.Ed. and M.A.T. Program Director. She teaches undergraduate courses in early childhood development and special education as well as graduate courses in action research and applied leadership. Dr. Swart's special areas of interest include early intervention, early childhood special education and play.
